In our team sessions we will foster a deeper understanding of each team member's unique strengths, enabling individuals to excel in their natural talents. The powerful moment is when we then discover the strengths of the collective team- visually seeing where the team is strongest, where the team adapts to fill in gaps, and what powerful collaborations can occur. There are 3 components of Team Strengths Training:

Everyone in your organization will take a Clifton Strengths Assessment. You have a choice to unlock your Top 5 Strengths or all 34 Strengths. For an explanation of the two reports, go to https://store.gallup.com/c/en-us/1/cliftonstrengths. It is the same assessment for both reports, just a higher cost to see all 34 Strengths. If you have taken a CliftonStrengths Assessment (formerly called Strengths Finders) in the last decade, you can email April that report instead of taking it again. This assessment is looking for natural talent and your results should not drastically change through life.

April will meet with the manager first, to go over his or her results and to discuss how to understand and navigate the strengths of the team. This can be done in a virtual meeting.

April and her team will then come to your organization and lead your organization through 2-3 sessions on your strengths. The exact content will be tailored to your manager's goals and the team priorities, but will include

a. Individual discovery and insights on strengths.

b. How to communicate using your strengths

c. Team discovery and insight

d. Problem-solving and future planning using team strengths

I've had a long career in the non- profit sector, having been an employee of an elementary school, a community college, a hospital, a camp and a church. My formal education is in Teaching (I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education) and Family-Centered Practice (I hold a Master's degree in Child Development). I have been using Gallup's CliftonStrengths with countless teams over the past 20 years and am a trained and certified Gallup Strengths Coach. My own strengths: Futuristic, Learner, Activator, Includer, and WOO (winning others over), are the guiding forces behind my work.
